Senior Test Engineer
As a key member of the engineering team the Senior Test Engineer will make a significant contribution to setting the direction of the test automation for the company’s products and ensuring high quality solutions are brought to market.
This position focuses on the system testing for the high scale, highly available data assurance components of the RKVST SaaS.
Key Resposibilities
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of the RKVST test automation infrastructure.
- Contributing to the software design and development process to enhance testability.
- Producing efficient, reliable, and thorough tests.
Skills
The Test Engineer will possess the following skills:
- Functional and Non-Functional testing
- Structured and exploratory testing
- Linux containers in docker
- Test design and implementation
- REST APIs
- Python
- Test integration with Agile and DevOps process and tooling
Nice to Have
- Robot test framework
- UI testing
- Testing of distributed microservices architectures
- Kubernetes
- Service mesh (Istio)
Required Experience
- 3 years + in test automation for REST cloud services
- Track record of ensuring high quality software in an Agile development process
- Demonstrable experience of robust and thorough test development from conception to successful deployment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related discipline preferred
